A man in his 60s who suspected his wife of having an affair and wielded a weapon at a neighbor was arrested by the police.
On the 28th, the Boseong Police Station in Jeonnam arrested and is investigating a man in his 60s, Mr. A, on charges of attempted murder for stabbing a neighbor with a weapon.
Mr. A is accused of attempting to kill a village neighbor by wielding a weapon near a residential area in Boseong-eup, Boseong-gun, at around 9:39 p.m. on the 26th.
At the police station, he reportedly stated that he committed the crime because he suspected the victim was having an affair with his wife.
The victim's life is not in danger.
The police plan to apply for an arrest warrant for Mr. A after thoroughly investigating the exact circumstances of the incident.
