Barbitok Wins 5 Advertising Awards This Year... A Major Achievement at Global Advertising Festivals

Care Labs subsidiary Babitok, a KOSDAQ-listed company, has achieved consecutive awards at different advertising festivals with its planned campaign.

Babitok announced on the 28th that its campaign "Virtual Plastic Surgery Side Effects Simulation (Face the Fact)" won two awards, Silver and Crystal, at the MAD STARS (Busan International Marketing Advertising Festival). The company stated that with this award, it has won a total of 11 awards at five different domestic and international advertising festivals this year alone, demonstrating its recognized capabilities in the startup marketing industry.

Babitok began this year by being shortlisted in three categories at the 2023 Spikes Asia, the largest creativity festival in the Asia-Pacific region held in March, and then won the Bronze award at ADFEST 2023 held in Pattaya, Thailand. At the New York Festivals, considered one of the world's top three advertising festivals, Babitok received the Bronze award, earning the honor of being the first Korean startup to win since the startup category was newly established at the festival. Additionally, Babitok was selected as one of the four finalists for the upcoming 2023 YouTube Works Awards scheduled for October.

At the 2023 YouTube Works Awards, not only the "Virtual Plastic Surgery Side Effects Simulation" campaign, which had previously performed well at international advertising festivals, but also the "Tok Kkanokko Malhaebolkka" campaign attracted attention by winning finalist positions in two categories. This campaign, created in collaboration with Tanaka, humorously addressed stereotypes about plastic surgery and procedures through a uniquely addictive tone, signature poses, and dance, receiving great response. Babitok was recognized for its marketing achievements this year by having the most campaign videos among the nominated brands reach the finalist stage at this award.

A Babitok representative stated, "We will continue to develop and present various content to realize our core value of delivering accurate and reasonable information to customers and leading a proper plastic surgery culture." Industry experts evaluate that Babitok is leading the plastic surgery and procedure culture while creating positive market impact through original and attention-grabbing marketing.

Now in its 16th year, the Busan International Marketing Advertising Festival is the largest in Asia and the only international advertising festival in Korea. This year, 20,282 works from 63 countries were submitted, sharing global advertising trends, various digital technologies used in advertising, and marketing techniques.
