Cell Biotech's 'Duolac' Achieves Export No.1 for 10 Consecutive Years

Cell Biotech announced on the 28th that its probiotic brand 'DUOLAC' has achieved the number one position in domestic probiotic exports for 10 consecutive years.

According to the '2022 Food Production Statistics' by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, the total domestic probiotic export value last year was 63.8 billion KRW, of which Cell Biotech exported 22.7 billion KRW, ranking first among domestic companies. The total export value last year increased by 74% compared to the previous year (36.7 billion KRW), and Cell Biotech's export value grew by 55% from 14.6 billion KRW.

Since its founding, Cell Biotech has proactively established export channels through bold investments. It has a foreign subsidiary in Denmark, known as the homeland of probiotics, serving as a foothold for European exports, and exports probiotics to over 40 countries worldwide, including Asia and Europe. In particular, it has been recognized for the excellence of Korean probiotics by ranking second in market share in Denmark.

On the technology front, Cell Biotech has developed proprietary Korean strains and has consistently proven safety through ▲strain genome analysis ▲antibiotic resistance testing ▲toxic gene testing, among others.
