What Do Foreigners Like Daiel Think of Our Integrity Culture?

Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Jo Seong-myeong) will hold the "Clean Gangnam Talk Concert with Daniel, Alberto, and Lucky" at 6 PM on September 6th in the lobby on the first floor of the district office.

The district, which is promoting various integrity policies such as internal broadcasts on integrity for senior officials and anti-corruption and integrity practice pledge ceremonies, has prepared an entertaining talk show discussing the culture of integrity in Korea and various other countries from the perspective of foreigners. The event is planned to be open not only to public officials but also to residents, aiming to raise interest in integrity throughout society and to spread a culture of integrity.

This event features Daniel Lindemann (Germany), Alberto Mondi (Italy), and Lucky (India), who gained popularity for their outstanding insight and debating skills on JTBC's Non-Summit.

The speakers will discuss for about an hour on the theme of "Integrity Policies and Culture Worldwide and Gangnam's Integrity Story," covering ▲ integrity policies, cultures, and perceptions in various countries ▲ cases of corruption worldwide and how different countries respond to corruption incidents and public sentiment ▲ integrity policies and systems we need to know to prevent fraud and corruption, such as the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act, the Public Interest Whistleblower Protection Act, the Public Finance Recovery Act, and the Conflict of Interest Prevention Act, followed by a Q&A session.

Anyone can attend the talk concert. Pre-registration is available through the Gangnam-gu Office website until August 31. Even if you do not pre-register, since the venue?the first-floor lobby of the district office?is an open space, anyone can visit and watch on the day of the event.

For more details about the event, please contact the Integrity Policy Team of the Audit Office at the district office.

Jo Seong-myeong, Mayor of Gangnam-gu, stated, "We expect this event to be a special integrity event where our society’s integrity can be viewed objectively and critically from the perspective of foreigners," and added, "We will continue to promote effective integrity policies that everyone can agree on to build a trustworthy public service for our residents."
