In the Second Half of the Year, Promoting Live Broadcasts in China to Target 1.4 Billion Customers in the Chinese Market
Seongbuk-gu (Mayor Lee Seung-ro) announced the launch of the 2023 Fall/Winter new collection of the fashion sewing joint brand ‘URZ (Yours)’ along with news about the expansion of Yours Shop's overseas online distribution channels.
‘URZ’ stands for Unique Reality Zone (the most special moment for you) and is a joint brand launched to revitalize Seongbuk's representative industry, garment manufacturing, by developing high value-added products for fashion manufacturing companies and pioneering joint distribution channels.
Seongbuk-gu is leading the way in developing both online and offline sales channels through the operation of the Seongbuk Smart Fashion Industry Center joint exhibition and sales hall, as well as online sales projects and global distribution support projects.
Yours Shop has been listed on fashion online commerce platforms such as Seoul Showroom, Naver Fashion Town, Lotte ON, Queenit, and Hmall, and regularly conducts live broadcasts once a month on Naver TV. Since last year, on the China WeChat-based mobile commerce platform, it has been communicating with Chinese customers through live broadcasts twice a month, introducing excellent products from Seongbuk-gu’s fashion sewing small business owners while eliciting positive responses from local customers.
In particular, in the second half of the year, Yours plans to promote live overseas broadcasts of the 2023 Fall/Winter planned products in Shenzhen with ‘Yiwanwussan,’ a specialized Chinese multi-channel network company, which is expected to greatly help secure local customers in China.
This planned exhibition involved a total of five companies, including designers ‘Inyu’ and ‘Unique A,’ tenants of the Youth Fashion Startup Support Center, and Seongjin Apparel, a small fashion sewing business in Seongbuk-gu. The Fall/Winter planned products showcase various transitional season items such as blouses, dresses, wool vests, coats, and scarves under the ‘French Chic’ concept, reflecting urban sophistication and feminine style.
In particular, the scarves are differentiated items developed by printing actual patchwork pieces, painstakingly sewn over a long time, onto silk fabric, expected to attract consumer attention by promoting the beauty of Korea both domestically and internationally.
The products developed as Fall/Winter planned items will be sequentially introduced from the end of August at the Seongbuk-gu joint brand website, Naver Shopping, Seoul Showroom mall, and the exhibition and sales hall located on the first floor of the Seongbuk Smart Fashion Industry Center (45 Bomunsa-gil).
Lee Seung-ro, Mayor of Seongbuk-gu, said, “We will continue to expand the global distribution channels of URZ (Yours) to widely promote the excellence of local garment manufacturers and actively strive to contribute to the local economy by creating quality jobs.”
