Looking for a Job?... Geumcheon-gu Job Fair Held

Participation of Over 20 Companies and Related Organizations, Providing Diverse Job Information

Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) announced that it will hold the "2023 Geumcheon-gu Job Fair Toward My Job" on September 20th for companies looking to hire excellent employees and job seekers seeking quality jobs.

The event is hosted by Geumcheon-gu and organized by five related institutions including the Seoul Gwanak Employment Welfare Plus Center of the Ministry of Employment and Labor, the Middle-aged Tomorrow Center of the Labor-Management Development Foundation, the Southern Women's Development Center, the Geumcheon 50 Plus Center, and Chung-Ang University.

At the "Company Recruitment Hall," about 20 outstanding companies inside and outside Geumcheon-gu will conduct recruitment interviews. The "Institution Promotion Hall" will provide employment support services such as job counseling and resume consultation. Additionally, the "Side Event Hall" will offer free personalized color diagnosis, beauty services (hair and makeup), and resume photo shoots.

The "Company Recruitment Hall" will operate from 1 PM to 5 PM, the "Institution Promotion Hall" from 9 AM to 6 PM, and the "Side Event Hall" from 11 AM to 5 PM.

Job seekers wishing to participate can visit the "Geumcheon-gu Job Center" located in the integrated civil service office on the first floor of the district office with their application form, resume, and self-introduction letter by the day before the event. On the day of the event, participants can also submit their documents and choose the companies they want to interview with.

The district plans to provide continuous job placement services for job seekers who do not find employment on the day of the event.

Mayor Yu Seong-hoon of Geumcheon-gu said, "We have prepared a venue where companies and job seekers can meet face-to-face for the first time in five years," and added, "We hope interested residents participate in the job fair to find jobs and gain useful information."
