Exemption from Military Enlistment by Pretending to Have Depression
Evidence of Drug Solicitation to Victimized Woman
The so-called 'Bariggan Man,' who confined his girlfriend, forcibly shaved her head, and assaulted her by urinating on her face, is expected to face additional criminal charges.
The YouTube channel 'Caracula Detective Agency' partially revealed the identity of the perpetrator, Mr. A, on the 24th. They also investigated the reasons why the victim, Ms. B, stated that he was exempted from military service, as well as circumstances involving forgery of private documents during his personal rehabilitation application after losing money in gambling and stocks.
Ms. B said that Mr. A worked as a 'host bar player.' She said, "He hid from me that he was a host bar player," adding, "He worked as a host bar player because the salary was high, but after I found out, I think he went there secretly."
She continued, "After he was prescribed (depression) medication, I saw him throw it into the toilet," claiming that Mr. A falsely obtained military exemption. Ms. B also revealed that when Mr. A lost 60 million won through gambling and applied for personal rehabilitation, he forged private documents via Telegram and submitted them to the judge because host bar work was not recognized as a legitimate occupation.
That was not all. Ms. B said that Mr. A took eight pills of zolpidem for fun and offered her a drug called 'Candy.' She said, "He said, 'It’s not addictive and you can get it on Telegram in 10 minutes,'" adding, "He asked if I wanted to try it together."
The father of victim Ms. B, who appeared in the video together, lamented that there was evidence Mr. A tried to impregnate Ms. B without her consent.
He recalled, "Since my daughter did not have her period, she kept buying pregnancy tests at convenience stores to check if she was pregnant," and "When she visited the obstetrics and gynecology clinic, she said she was severely beaten because she was told she was not pregnant."
He expressed frustration, saying, "I went to the obstetrics and gynecology clinic to get CCTV footage of these scenes, but they said they could only show it if the person herself came," and "So I went with my daughter, but they said the CCTV had been broken for a long time."
Meanwhile, the perpetrator has hired a total of three lawyers?two from a law firm and one from a legal office?to prepare for the trial. Ms. B claimed that shortly before this incident, Mr. A caused a traffic accident, and the same lawyers handled his defense during that process. She said, "I heard that the lawyer from the legal office is a junior to the perpetrator’s father. You can say that the lawyer is closely connected to the perpetrator’s family."
