Gwangju Dong-gu, Recruiting Wedding Couples During Chungjang Festival Period

Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City announced that it is recruiting ‘wedding couples’ who will hold a special wedding ceremony during the ‘20th Gwangju Nostalgic Chungjang Festival’.

The ‘Best Avenue of Life (Daero)’, planned for the first time this year, is a wedding performance and street wedding held over two days on October 7-8 at Chungjang-ro Bridal Street.

Lovers who want to create memories in a special space, couples who could not hold a wedding due to personal circumstances, multicultural couples settled in Korea, and couples wishing for a reminder wedding can all participate.

If selected as a ‘Best Avenue of Life’ wedding couple, they will receive full support for the entire wedding process, including musicians, actors, officiants, necessary dresses, tuxedos, hanbok, paebaek (traditional Korean wedding ceremony), and on-site wedding photography.

Lovers or couples who want to create special memories through this year’s coming-of-age Chungjang Festival can download the related documents from the Gwangju Nostalgic Chungjang Festival website and apply via email by the 1st of next month.
