This report meeting was organized to review the progress of campaign pledges over the past year since the launch of the 8th local government term, discuss various issues and countermeasures, and ensure the smooth fulfillment of promises made to the residents.
The campaign pledges for the 8th local government term consist of 59 projects across 6 major sectors, with 16 completed, 42 progressing normally, and 1 lagging behind, resulting in an overall implementation rate of 50.9%.
Among the completed projects are ▲support for distribution and sales of eco-friendly agricultural and livestock products, ▲support for activities of cultural artists and clubs, ▲significant expansion of medical expense support for elderly patients with geriatric diseases, ▲establishment and operation of customized welfare programs for the elderly, ▲continuous promotion of Hampyeong prestigious school development projects, and ▲expansion of scholarships through the talent development fund, totaling 16 projects.

For the business center installation project linked to the Bitgreen Industrial Complex and Dong-Hampyeong Industrial Complex, which is facing difficulties in progress, the county plans to work closely with the central government, Jeollanam-do, and related organizations to devise multifaceted solutions including securing budgets and sites.
Governor Sang-ik Lee stated, “Campaign pledges are precious promises to the residents and the top priority tasks for realizing Hampyeong’s vision,” and added, “Please make every effort, led by department heads, to secure national and provincial funding so that projects can proceed smoothly as planned.”
Meanwhile, Hampyeong-gun conducts quarterly progress checks and holds regular report meetings every first and second half of the year. The results of these inspections are periodically disclosed on the county’s official website to implement trustworthy administration.
