Gwangsan District Council of Gwangju Visits Eulji Exercise Comprehensive Situation Room for Encouragement

On the 23rd, the Gwangsan District Council of Gwangju visited the district office's comprehensive situation room to observe the Eulji Exercise training situation and encouraged the efforts, the council announced on the 24th.

The 'Eulji Exercise' is a government-led emergency preparedness drill conducted once a year nationwide. Its goal is to assess the nation's crisis management capabilities and to practice procedures for performing wartime missions in response to security threats.

Chairman Kim Taewan stated, "The Eulji Exercise is a very important training not only for war but also for protecting the lives and property of the people from large-scale disasters."

He added, "I appreciate the efforts of the officials and related personnel who are doing their best in the training to protect residents in the event of an emergency."
