Seocho District Council Encourages '2023 Eulji Exercise Comprehensive Situation Room'

Seocho District Council (Chairman Oh Se-cheol) visited the '2023 Eulji Exercise' comprehensive situation room on the 22nd to receive a briefing on the training status and to encourage the efforts of the personnel on duty, aimed at establishing a national emergency preparedness posture.

On this day, Chairman Oh Se-cheol, Vice Chairman Ahn Jong-suk, and Operations Committee Chair Park Mi-jung received a situation report on the second day of the Eulji Exercise from the Director of the Safety City Division at the comprehensive situation room set up on the second floor of the district office. The council then delivered snacks equivalent to 130 servings to express their encouragement and gratitude.

Chairman Oh Se-cheol stated, “In case of emergencies, thorough response and preparedness are necessary to protect the lives and safety of district residents,” and urged, “I hope everyone will do their best in the Eulji Exercise with a strong sense of security.”

Meanwhile, the ‘2023 Eulji Exercise’ is a nationwide joint emergency preparedness drill involving civilians, government, and military, conducted over four days from August 21 to 24.
