Goseong-gun, Gyeongnam Conducts Realistic Eulji Exercise Training

Goseong-gun, Gyeongnam conducted a realistic Eulji Exercise at Goryeo Chemical Co., Ltd.

The training held on the 22nd was a protection and terrorism recovery drill at the Goryeo Chemical Goseong Plant, a key management target company, and included ▲initial situation transmission and response activities in a terrorism scenario ▲terrorist suppression and fire extinguishing ▲life rescue and patient transport ▲emergency recovery in a vivid sequence.

In particular, the actual training is significant in that it establishes a national response system to terrorism and presents a comprehensive security concept.

The training involved 140 personnel from eight organizations, including Goseong-gun, Goseong Police Station, and the 2nd Battalion of the 8358th Unit, conducting coordinated drills to prepare for terrorism and fire.

County Governor Lee Sang-geun emphasized, “Experiencing and mastering response measures through practical training will be a valuable asset in crisis situations,” and added, “Public officials must do their best with a mindset of preparedness to protect the lives and safety of the people.”
