A total of 929 cases received over 9 days from August 10 to August 18
Hwasun-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 23rd that the second application period for the 10,000 KRW rental housing, held from the 10th to the 18th, was successfully completed.
This recruitment aimed to select 26 young adults and 26 newlywed couples, but a total of 929 applicants applied, including 882 young adults and 47 newlywed couples, resulting in high competition rates of 34:1 and 1.8:1, respectively.
Among the applicants, 494 resided outside Hwasun-gun, accounting for 53% of the total.
By age group, 517 applicants were 29 years old or younger, 320 were between 30 and 39 years old, and 92 were between 40 and 49 years old, with those 29 or younger making up 56% of all applicants.
Hwasun-gun plans to announce the candidates selected for document screening on the Hwasun-gun Office website on the 23rd.
The selected candidates should prepare their documents and send them by registered mail to the Population and Youth Policy Division of Hwasun-gun Office between the 23rd and the 29th.
A county official stated, “The nearly 1,000 applicants in this second recruitment is objective evidence of the strong desire among young adults and newlywed couples for housing stability,” adding, “Hwasun-gun will continue to strive to address various issues such as housing problems and employment for the youth.”
