Marosol Partners with SoftBank Joint Venture

Targeting the Global 60 Trillion Won Service Robot Market

Robot solution company Marosol (CEO Kim Min-kyo) announced on the 22nd that it has signed a strategic partnership with Gausium Robot Vision (hereinafter GRV) to target the domestic and international service robot markets. GRV is a joint venture established by Japan's service robot company SoftBank Robotics (hereinafter SoftBank) and China's service robot company Gausium Robotics (hereinafter Gausium) to target the global service robot market.

Through this strategic partnership, GRV and Marosol plan to target the global service robot market, which is expected to reach 60 trillion KRW by 2025. The two companies will expand the domestic autonomous cleaning robot market through comprehensive cooperation including ▲ enhancing the usability of autonomous robots using Marosol's integrated control system SOLlink ▲ developing and demonstrating digital transformation (DX) integrated solutions for the cleaning industry ▲ developing inter-floor movement solutions linked with elevators ▲ strengthening domestic customer and partner service response systems.

It is the global number one cleaning robot company with thousands of customers already secured. The cumulative driving distance of Gausium cleaning robots sold worldwide is approximately 400 million kilometers, a distance equivalent to circling the Earth 10,000 times.

Kim Min-kyo, CEO of Marosol, said, "SOLlink, developed by Marosol, has been verified on-site to greatly improve usability and convenience when combined with existing commercial robot hardware," adding, "We will establish a breakthrough moment for robot distribution in Korea and rapidly expand the introduction of the SOLlink license to SoftBank Robotics' global channels and products."
