[Photo] Owen Seok, Dobong District Mayor, "Establishing a Strong National Emergency Preparedness through Eulji Exercise" On June 21, Oh Eun-seok, the mayor of Dobong-gu, attended the 'First Situation Report Meeting of the Eulji Exercise' held at the comprehensive exhibition situation room of the district office.

Dobong-gu (Mayor Oh Eon-seok) held the '2023 Eulji Exercise Initial Situation Report Meeting' on the afternoon of the 21st at the comprehensive situation room of the district office, attended by district senior officials and related agency personnel from the 2188th Unit, Dobong Police Station, Dobong Fire Station, and others.


The report meeting was organized to confirm and inspect the response measures by each department and related agencies in preparation for a national total war, proceeding in the order of the Eulji Exercise promotional video, an overview of the Eulji Exercise, and military operation situation reports.


Marking its 55th year, the Eulji Exercise will be conducted over 3 nights and 4 days until the 24th, involving about 220 battalions, Dobong Police Station, Dobong Fire Station, and 10 related agencies, with realistic training such as ▲ wartime blood collection training ▲ air raid civil defense evacuation drills ▲ discussions on major current issues.


Oh Eon-seok, Mayor of Dobong-gu, said, “I ask all employees to participate in this Eulji Exercise with a sense of duty as public officials responsible for the safety of residents and responding to security crises,” and added, “Please do your best to enhance organic response capabilities to emergencies and establish a solid national emergency preparedness posture through integrated training with related agencies including civilian, government, military, and police.”


On the same day, with the cooperation of the 2188th Unit, a military equipment experience session was held in the first-floor lobby of the district office to foster a safety and security consensus among residents.
