The 2nd Seodaemun-gu and Mapo-gu MSG Major Information Session to be Held on the 26th of This Month in the Afternoon

Over 40 Departments from 33 Universities in Humanities & Social Sciences, Natural Sciences & Engineering, Medical & Health, and Arts & Physical Education Participating

Providing Various Information to Youths about Schools, Majors, and College Entrance Preparation Methods

Seodaemun-gu (Mayor Lee Seongheon) and the Seodaemun Career and Job Experience Support Center will hold the "2nd Seodaemun-gu X Mapo-gu MSG Major Information Session" from 1 PM to 5 PM on the 26th at Sinchon Star Plaza and Changcheon Culture Park.

The acronym MSG is created by combining the English letters of Mapo-gu and Seodaemun-gu, indicating that both districts jointly support this event.

Under the catchphrase "The Dream Bus to University - Universe (Bus)," the information session will feature students from over 40 departments across 33 universities in the fields of humanities & social sciences, natural sciences & engineering, medical & health, and arts & physical education.

At each counseling booth, these students will provide one-on-one information to youths about universities, majors, career paths after graduation, and entrance exam strategies.

The district will also operate "unique major experience booths," including departments such as Companion Animal Studies and Culinary Arts, in collaboration with Digital Seoul Culture & Arts University.

Additionally, the first 30 youths to arrive will receive a "Department and Field Aptitude Test Interpretation" worth 20,000 KRW. This is expected to receive great response as the 2025 high school credit system will expand common subjects and career-convergence elective courses.

Mayor Lee Seongheon stated, "We expect that the content shared by university student mentors based on their own experiences will provide practical help for youths in establishing their career plans."
