Study cafe/reading room industry leader 'Jaksim' announced that it will integrate the space service market with 'The Jaksim,' a combined model of study cafe and shared office launched in 2022.
While implementing a large-scale startup strategy together with construction companies, developers, building owners, and shopping mall owners, it secured profitability by expanding the customer spectrum to shared offices.
The study cafe market originally started as a combination of premium reading rooms and cafes, aiming to provide a wider and more comfortable study space. However, as more open and bright study cafes emerged, the customer base shifted to include not only cafe study enthusiasts but also freelancers and solo entrepreneurs.
Since the spaces used by freelancers and solo entrepreneurs within shared offices are mostly places for loud conversations, customers seeking focused work environments tend to prefer study cafes over shared offices.
'The Jaksim' identified these customer needs and positioned itself as a combined form of study cafe and shared office, entering large spaces where examinees, self-development seekers, freelancers, and solo entrepreneurs can all maintain high concentration.
As the customer spectrum expanded to adults engaged in self-development, freelancers, and solo entrepreneurs, the locations where 'The Jaksim' opens have also moved from side streets to main roads, allowing it to accommodate more customers.
