Modetour Extends 'Full Refund for COVID-19 Confirmed Cases' Policy Until September

Modetour recently announced on the 18th that, considering the continuous occurrence of COVID-19 positive cases just before overseas travel departures, it has decided to extend the 'COVID-19 Positive Case Support Policy' that has been in effect since June.


Modetour Extends 'Full Refund for COVID-19 Confirmed Cases' Policy Until September

Modetour's 'COVID-19 Positive Case Support Policy' is a system that, since the resurgence of COVID-19 began in June, provides a 100% refund regardless of terms and conditions, quarantine status, or penalties related to flights and local arrangements upon submission of a positive test certificate.


Although mandatory quarantine was reduced from 7 days to a recommended 5 days starting in June, considering the nature of package tours, the company decided to further extend the support policy until September.


Jo Jaegwang, Head of Modetour's Product Division, said, "Although the recent increase in COVID-19 positive cases has slowed, cases of customers testing positive just before departure continue to occur," adding, "We have decided to extend the support policy for positive cases, which was previously provided regardless of existing terms and conditions, until September."
