Participation of the National Gugak Center in the Mongol World Nomad Culture Festival

"A Great Opportunity to Introduce Traditional Music and Culture to the World"

The National Gugak Center will represent Korea by performing folk art at the World Nomad Culture Festival held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, on the 19th. It aims to promote traditional music and culture worldwide and strengthen cultural exchange between Korea and Mongolia.

The World Nomad Culture Festival is an international cultural event where many countries showcase and exchange their unique cultures. The National Gugak Center will not only perform but also establish ongoing exchanges by signing agreements with local national art organizations such as the National Conservatory and the National Police Shield Ensemble.


Kim Jung-hyun, director of the National Gugak Center, stated, "This is a great opportunity to introduce Korea's traditional music and culture to the world," adding, "We will build close relationships through continuous cultural exchanges with Mongolia and other countries."
