Hybrid Starting from 40,310,000 KRW
Hyundai Motor Company announced that it will launch the mid-size sport utility vehicle (SUV) Santa Fe on the 16th. The price starts at 35.46 million KRW for the gasoline 2.5 turbo model's base trim, and from 40.31 million KRW for the 1.6 turbo hybrid model.
Specifically, the gasoline models are priced at 35.46 million KRW for the Exclusive trim, 37.94 million KRW for the Prestige trim, and 43.74 million KRW for the Calligraphy trim. The hybrid models (prices before tax benefits) are 40.31 million KRW for Exclusive, 42.79 million KRW for Prestige, and 47.64 million KRW for Calligraphy.
This vehicle features a boxy shape with a large tailgate, the largest interior space in its class, and various convenience features. It is characterized by front and rear H lights that reinterpret Hyundai’s emblem, a unique side profile created by the large tailgate, voluminous fenders, and large 21-inch wheels.
The interior is designed around a large tailgate with a terrace concept that extends the sense of space and openness to the exterior, allowing for outdoor enjoyment, according to the company. Based on the overall increased body size, it offers a best-in-class luggage capacity of 725 liters (VDA standard), easily accommodating four golf bags (caddy bags) and four Boston bags.
Convenience features include a newly developed two-way multi-console. For the first time in Hyundai vehicles, a smartphone dual wireless charging system is applied, enabling simultaneous wireless charging of two smartphones inside the car.
Advanced driving assistance features such as navigation-based smart cruise control are also equipped.
A Hyundai Motor Company official said, “The Santa Fe, newly introduced five years after the launch of the 4th generation, is Hyundai’s representative SUV that combines a strong exterior with a delicate and sophisticated interior space. It will be the optimal choice for customers seeking to open new horizons in their daily lives.”
