Provided Cultural Experience Opportunities During Vacation
150 Employees Join as 'Byeolkkum Supporters'
Shinsegae Property announced on the 14th that it has launched the '2023 Second Half Byeolgum Supporters' and will continue the social contribution project for local children, 'Starfield Play.'

This Starfield Play will be held 24 times until August 17 at Starfield Hanam, Goyang, Anseong, and Starfield City Bucheon and Myeongji. Approximately 1,400 local children are expected to visit. About 150 employees serving as Byeolgum Supporters will act as guides to ensure that the children visiting Starfield and Starfield City have a fun and safe day.
Not only employees but also popular entertainment stores at Starfield, such as 'SMOB by Sports Monster' and 'Champion1250X,' are joining the initiative to nurture children's dreams and hopes and create joyful memories by actively supporting the project.
The children invited to Starfield Hanam, Goyang, and Anseong will enjoy thrilling activities such as zip lines, bungee jumping, and high-altitude adventure courses at 'SMOB by Sports Monster,' Korea's first theme park combining sports and entertainment. At Starfield City Bucheon, the Shining Star class is prepared, and at Starfield City Myeongji, children can experience the indoor playground 'Champion1250X.' After lunch, they will watch the latest popular movies at the cinema.
Lim Young-rok, CEO of Shinsegae Property, said, "As a member of the local community, we will support and encourage children and adolescents to nurture their dreams through various cultural experiences and learn the meaning of sharing and happiness in daily life." Since 2018, Shinsegae Property has been conducting the one-day cultural experience program Starfield Play, inviting local children and adolescents to Starfield to enjoy various entertainment facilities. Including this session, a total of about 4,800 children have participated so far. Since 2022, Shinsegae Property has also been operating the Byeolgum Supporters, an in-house volunteer activity for local children and adolescents, in which employees voluntarily participate.
