Eden Law Firm is a young law firm established in 2021 by three lead attorneys?Yang Ji-hyun (38, 6th Bar Exam), Jeong Yoon (36, 6th Bar Exam), and Park Bo-ram (34, 6th Bar Exam)?who previously worked together at a large law firm. Direct communication with clients and prompt response are Eden’s fundamental principles. This approach breaks away from the authoritarian and one-sided communication style typical of the traditional legal market, allowing each specialized attorney to handle cases directly from the outset without intervention from office managers.

Eden’s Divorce Specialized Center handles all issues that may arise during the divorce process, including adultery, property division, custody, and inheritance. Among divorce services, it offers a one-stop legal service specialized in divorce mediation. Unlike litigation, divorce mediation minimizes conflicts between parties, enabling a faster and more amicable divorce, which has led to an increase in related consultations recently.
Eden compares and analyzes various divorce cases to predict litigation outcomes and prepare appropriate mediation proposals. The primary goal is to draft a final agreement that allows parties to divorce quickly and successfully without appearing in court. For clients residing overseas or with foreign spouses, Eden also provides services such as translation and filing for international divorces.
Lead attorney Yang said, "Many experience renewed conflicts during the process of dividing assets following a difficult litigation and court ruling. Relying solely on court decisions to resolve issues may not even be feasible." He added, "Since it is necessary to communicate with the spouse or their representative to finely adjust agreements on aspects difficult to obtain through court rulings, divorce mediation requires more data, experience, and know-how compared to litigation." He also stated, "Eden continuously collects relevant evidence and provides strategies in preparation for cases that may proceed to divorce litigation."
Eden has established various agreements reflecting clients’ realities. Examples include agreeing to sell real estate and divide proceeds by a certain ratio if market prices rise in the future, receiving unlisted shares of a corporation operated by the spouse as part of property division, prioritizing gifts of assets to children as part of property division, or receiving child support as a lump sum?cases that are difficult to recognize through court rulings alone.
Lead attorneys Yang and Park are currently registered as 'Divorce Specialized Attorneys' with the Korean Bar Association. In particular, lead attorney Park has been active in legal support for marginalized groups as a member of the Presidential Committee on Ageing Society and Population Policy, a lawyer in the Bar Association’s Disabled Legal Support Lawyer Group, and a member of the Korean Women Lawyers Association’s Special Committee on Legal Support for Single-Parent Families. Park said, "Divorce is not simply ending a relationship with someone. Helping clients start a new chapter in life is also the role of a divorce specialized attorney," adding "Eden’s divorce specialized attorneys will continue to communicate directly with clients and provide optimal solutions."
