Great Interest in 'Jinju K-Entrepreneurship'

Jinju City in Gyeongnam announced on the 14th that Mayor Cho Gyu-il of Jinju City was invited by Consul General Osuka Tsuyoshi, the Japanese Consul General in Busan, and held a dinner at the consulate residence.

This dinner event took place after Consul General Osuka Tsuyoshi, who visited Jinju City in June and toured Jisu Seungsan Village and the K-Entrepreneurship Center, invited Mayor Cho Gyu-il and his spouse to the residence in appreciation of Jinju City's warm hospitality.

At the dinner, Mayor Cho expressed his gratitude for Consul General Osuka Tsuyoshi's invitation and emphasized the importance of the Consul General's role in fostering continuous exchanges with Kanazawa City, which shares many similarities with Jinju as a UNESCO Creative City and a city of tradition, culture, and arts, asking for his cooperation.

He also discussed future efforts to revitalize exchanges between Jinju City and Japanese cities. At this occasion, Consul General Osuka Tsuyoshi showed great interest in the global expansion of Jinju's K-Entrepreneurship.

Mayor Cho said, “Currently, Jinju is thriving as the capital of K-Entrepreneurship and a world-renowned lantern city. It is expected that many tourists from around the world will visit the upcoming global festival, the ‘Jinju Namgang Yudeung Festival,’ in October. I understand that many Japanese exchange groups also frequently visit Jinju City.” He added, “We look forward to Consul General Osuka Tsuyoshi and his spouse joining us in the beautiful October Jinju, where water, fire, and light harmoniously come together.”
