On the 10th, when the 6th typhoon 'Khanun' was approaching, a man in his 60s with a disability who was moving around in an electric wheelchair in Daegu went missing and was found dead in a reservoir three days later. The Daegu Fire and Safety Headquarters announced on the 12th at around 10:20 a.m. that they recovered Mr. A (67) near the southern entrance of Sangwonji in Sangwon-ri, Gachang-myeon, Dalseong-gun.
According to the fire authorities, Mr. A's location was discovered by a water rescue detection dog. After the detection dog showed an abnormal reaction, the exact location was identified using an underwater sonar device, and the body was found through a diving search. The search involved 52 firefighters, 10 police officers, 25 county officials, 2 water rescue detection dogs, and 16 pieces of equipment.

Mr. A's disappearance has been classified as a 'safety accident' rather than a 'disaster.' According to Daegu City's assessment that "he slipped and fell into the stream while riding the electric wheelchair," the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasure Headquarters categorized it as a 'safety accident.'
