Gyeongnam Province: "Be Careful Even After the Typhoon Has Passed!"

Typhoon Khanun, the 6th typhoon, swept through Gyeongnam Province, and the provincial government has urged caution following the typhoon.

The province emphasized that even after the typhoon has passed, there are still risks such as landslides, floods, and coastal flooding, requiring special attention.

According to the province, after the typhoon's aftermath, people should ▲ contact family and acquaintances to check on their safety ▲ avoid entering drainage channels near rice paddy water gates ▲ refrain from repairing roofs ▲ stay away from river embankments ▲ avoid using roads and bridges submerged in water ▲ be cautious of gas leaks and electric shocks.

A provincial official stated, “Due to heavy rainfall weakening the ground and moisture remaining in many places, please stay away from dangerous areas and be careful to prevent secondary damage.”
