Naju City Health Center Recruiting Participants for '12-Week Weight Loss Project'

The Naju City Public Health Center in Jeollanam-do is recruiting participants for the "Non-face-to-face Weight Loss Project" aimed at systematic obesity management and the formation of healthy lifestyle habits.

According to the Naju City Public Health Center on the 11th, the project, consisting of a total of 12 weeks, begins with setting target weight through basic health examinations, followed by intensive management, final health checkups and target weight certification, and post-management.

The target participants are 50 citizens in their 20s to 50s, accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Applications can be submitted online by accessing the QR code at the top of the promotional poster until the 16th.

The operation period is from the 21st of this month to November 10th.

Participants in the project will first visit the health center during weeks 1 to 2 to undergo preliminary physical measurements such as a health behavior survey, body composition, and cholesterol tests.

Then, they will join a mobile app (Naver Band) and set individual weight loss goals based on lifestyle habits through one-on-one consultations with nurses, exercise prescribers, and nutritionists.

From weeks 2 to 11, the management team plans to provide various obesity management services such as exercise lectures, healthy diet plans, and mission postings weekly on the app.

In the final week, participants will revisit the health center for post body composition measurements, and those who achieve their target weight will receive a small Naju Love Gift Certificate.

A health center official said, "We hope this 12-week obesity management project will be an opportunity to form healthy lifestyle habits and extend healthy life expectancy through systematic self-health management by completing it to the end."
