Accordingly, the police, Incheon International Airport Corporation, and Korea Airports Corporation have enhanced security checks, including patrols with police and fire departments at each airport.
The airport patrol interval has been shortened from 90 minutes to 60 minutes, and patrols in blind spots without CCTV inside the passenger terminal have also been intensified.
Busan Metropolitan Police Agency has deployed a total of about 140 personnel, including the police special forces, airport police unit, riot police, and fire department, to Gimhae Airport to strengthen searches and patrols.
Currently, domestic and international flights at Gimhae Airport are operating normally without cancellations.
