Interest and Fee Reductions... Suspension of Debt Collection Activities
Hyundai Capital will defer repayments for up to six months and waive interest and fees for customers affected by Typhoon 'Khanun'.
Hyundai Capital announced on the 11th that it will provide such financial support.
First, customers affected by the typhoon will have their payments due this month and in September deferred for up to six months. Interest and fees during the deferral period will be fully waived. Additionally, if affected customers are currently overdue, debt collection activities will be suspended for six months.
Consultations and document submissions for the support program can be made through Hyundai Capital's main phone number. Affected customers must submit a damage confirmation certificate issued by the local government office within three months from the date of the damage.
A Hyundai Capital representative explained, "We have launched emergency financial support to help customers who have suffered various losses due to the unexpected super typhoon."
