Minister of Health and Welfare Cho Kyu-hong Inspects Damage to Welfare Facilities and Medical Institutions Due to 'Kanun' Impact

On the 11th, Cho Kyu-hong, Minister of Health and Welfare, inspected the damage situation of social welfare facilities and medical institutions to minimize the inconvenience to the public using each facility due to the impact of Typhoon 'Khanun', the 6th typhoon.

Minister Cho said, "There were temporary power outages and other damages in some facilities, but they were quickly restored," and urged, "There are still risk factors due to weakened ground, so please do your best to ensure safety until the end."

The Ministry of Health and Welfare plans to work with local governments to identify and eliminate risk factors in each facility in advance and take the best measures to safely protect facility workers and users from natural disasters that may occur at any time.
