Due to the impact of Typhoon Khanun, damage reports are continuing across various parts of Gyeongnam.
According to the Gyeongnam Fire Headquarters and Changwon Fire Headquarters, as of 4 p.m. on the 10th, 224 and 163 reports have been received, respectively.

In Ssangbaek-myeon, Hapcheon-gun, rainwater backed up through a manhole as the drainage system was blocked by stones and twigs.
In Chilwon-eup, Haman-gun, a house collapsed, and in Neungpo-dong, Geoje-si, bricks from an apartment wall fell onto cars parked below the building.
In Naeseo-eup, Masanhwawon-gu, Changwon-si, a woman in her 70s who went for an early morning walk was trapped by the swollen Gwangryeocheon Stream and was rescued.
At Daeamgosam Intersection in Daebang-dong, Seongsan-gu, a woman in her 60s was swept away by a rapid current while crossing a crosswalk and was rescued by two police officers on emergency duty nearby.

In Macheon-dong, Jinhae-gu, a vehicle parked by the riverside was swept away by the rising water, prompting firefighters to conduct a rescue operation.
Near Ssuljae Tunnel in the direction of Naeseo-eup, Masanhwawon-gu, a slope collapsed, resulting in the closure of traffic in both directions.
In Sanho-dong, Masanhappo-gu, a woman in her 60s was rescued from a flooded house.

Basements of commercial buildings and underground parking lots, house yards, and roads were flooded, and damage such as soil erosion and fallen trees covering roads occurred in various locations.
So far, no casualties have been reported.
A fire department official stated, “We will not let our guard down until the typhoon has completely passed,” and urged, “Since reports of typhoon-related damage such as flooding, soil erosion, and collapses are continuing, please refrain from going out as much as possible and absolutely avoid dangerous areas such as rivers, streams, the sea, and mountains.”
