Hiring System for Employees at CU Convenience Stores Nationwide
Convenience and Rational Charging System
Kmong, a freelance market platform operator, announced on the 10th that it has signed a service contract with BGF Retail for the part-time job matching platform 'Soon (SOON)' to support recruitment at CU convenience stores.
Launched in 2018, Soon is a matching platform that helps self-employed business owners flexibly hire short-term workers (hereinafter referred to as part-timers) according to the days and hours when they need manpower. With the summer vacation season approaching, the demand for short-term recruitment surged sharply, ranking first in the Business Apps category on the App Store.
Under this contract, Soon will provide over 17,000 CU convenience stores nationwide with ▲an automatic worker assignment system based on ratings and experience ▲an absence management system that prevents absenteeism and leads to finding substitute workers ▲a charging policy applied only when workers are assigned. Additionally, it will support extra benefits such as discounts on short-term recruitment management services and a theft compensation system.
Currently, Soon continues its strong growth since its service launch. Last year, the total number of worker assignments reached 46,740, a 327% increase compared to the previous year, and this year, it nearly reached 37,000 in the first half alone, surpassing last year's performance for the same period. Based on this, Soon records an average monthly worker assignment success rate of 80%, while the worker absenteeism rate remains below 0.3%.
Kim Taeheon, CEO of Kmong, said, "Soon is striving to build trust by implementing pre-verification of job postings and a worker rating system to resolve uncertainties in the short-term employment market," adding, "As a bridging platform that facilitates smooth mutual connections, we will play a role in revitalizing the short-term employment market and enhancing its stability."
