Distance Performance Upgrade Women-Only Clubs
Operating State-of-the-Art Performance Centers in Gangnam and Yongin
TrackMan Equipment, Spacious Swing Rooms, Various Shafts
Fitting is not an option but a necessity. When purchasing expensive golf clubs, you need to find the optimal combination that suits you. Golf equipment companies prepare the best fitters and fitting equipment to welcome customers. They captivate amateur golfers with differentiated fitting know-how. This is the world of fitting that each equipment company boasts. The eighth is the ONOFF LADY, released by Masters International after two years.
The ONOFF LADY comes as a full set including driver, wood, utility, iron, and putter. The core technology used is Power Trench. It upgrades distance performance by enhancing face rebound. The driver increases rebound and forgiveness on the toe and heel areas through a new face inner structure. For irons, considering that most female golfers tend to hit the lower part of the face, a low center of gravity design was introduced by placing high-density tungsten in the sole. This provides the power to lift the ball more easily.
ONOFF LADY also offers a color custom service. With up to 60 combinations and a rich color option, you can complete your own unique club. Masters International is a golf-specialized company founded in 1982. It includes representative sportswear brands like Black & White and Globeride (formerly Daiwa), as well as premium golf products such as ONOFF, GIII, and Rodio.
Masters International’s Performance Centers are located in Gangnam and Yongin. Especially, the Yongin Performance Center has the largest indoor putting center in Korea. It is a space where not only amateurs but also tour players receive lessons and practice. It covers the start of golf (driver, iron) to the end (putter). A strength is that they directly manufacture shafts and heads represented by the technology of the fishing brand DAIWA. For ONOFF, there are Labo Spec shafts such as Tataki, Hashiri, and Shinari. The manufacturer proudly states, "We pursue ideal specs with the best clubs."
At the Performance Center, swing analysis and club fitting based on scientific data are conducted for everyone from amateur to professional golfers. The equipment used is TrackMan. It is a golf swing analyzer used not only in Korea but also by major tour players worldwide, famous golf coaches, club fitters, club equipment manufacturers, and golf associations. Using radar tracking technology, it reads the club’s movement path, angle, and speed. It can accurately measure the ball’s spin and tilt as well. It measures with an error margin within 1 foot per 100 yards. Actual data is shown in real-time graphics.
The OnOff Lady series is a premium women's exclusive club that is lightweight and excels in distance performance.
Various shots are tested in front of the monitor. A professional fitter checks launch, spin, landing angle, and provides feedback to combine the head and shaft. They check head, shaft, lie, weight, and length until consistent shots are achieved. Besides TrackMan, they also have the GDR (Golfzon Driving Range) system familiar to amateur golfers. If customers bring their own clubs, natural comparative test swings are possible.
