Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, Attends as the First Lecturer of the 4th Nowon Youth Policy Academy

Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District in Seoul, took the stage as the first lecturer of the 4th Nowon Youth Policy Academy held on the 9th at 7 PM in the small auditorium on the 6th floor of the Nowon District Office.

The Youth Policy Academy is a project jointly hosted by Nowon District and Yeouido Academy, where local youth, with the help of policy experts, directly create ordinances and policies to propose to the basic local government.

This day marked the first session out of a total of eight lectures in the academy course, with the theme "Getting to Know the City I Live In, Nowon District," where Mayor Oh personally presented the vision for Nowon District. The lecture focused on experiences encountered while promoting policies, followed by a Q&A session and a commemorative photo opportunity.

Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, said, “I sincerely thank the youth who showed active interest in district administration and attended this event,” adding, “We will develop a substantial academy so that the policy capabilities of young people lead to actual institutional changes, allowing them to feel a sense of self-efficacy.”
