With the news of Typhoon Khanun (Typhoon No. 6) moving northward, Oh Eon-seok, the mayor of Dobong-gu, gave up his summer vacation and held a "Typhoon Inspection Meeting" at 11 a.m. on the 9th.

As the Seoul area is expected to be directly affected by the typhoon starting from the 10th, Mayor Oh returned early from his vacation to preside over the meeting, reviewing each department's typhoon preparedness and response systems.

On this day, Mayor Oh Eon-seok of Dobong-gu said, "The entire country will be under the influence of the typhoon until the morning of the 11th, with heavy rain and strong winds expected. I hope everyone will do their best in situation management, including inspecting vulnerable facilities, to prevent any loss of life or property damage among residents due to this typhoon. Also, please maintain a 24-hour emergency system until the typhoon passes to ensure a swift response."

Currently, the district has completed its proactive emergency alert readiness and will continuously monitor the typhoon's speed and path to conduct preemptive control of dangerous areas and evacuate residents. In case of dangerous situations, partners and care officials will assist residents in evacuating quickly.
