Eco-friendly food waste disposer brand Smart Cara announced on the 9th that its cumulative sales have surpassed 210 billion KRW.
Sales of Smart Cara food waste disposers began to soar as product technology improved and premium and eco-friendly trends converged. The cumulative sales volume of food waste disposers exceeded 300,000 units from January 2017 to June this year. The cumulative sales amount surpassed 210 billion KRW.
Smart Cara analyzed that the expertise and differentiated technology accumulated over 14 years positively influenced the increase in sales. The company has built expertise by conducting research, development, production, and after-sales service (A/S) all domestically through a one-stop system. With craftsmanship, they continuously researched only drying and grinding type food waste disposers and developed a disposer optimized for processing the moisture-rich food waste typical of Koreans.
The ‘Smart Cara 400 Pro,’ released last year, is considered Smart Cara’s flagship product. It is the 7th generation food waste disposer that upgraded performance, design, and eco-friendly factors from the ‘Smart Cara 400’ launched in 2020.
This year, the brand has continued its success by running a campaign featuring brand model Hyun Bin and promoting the drying and grinding method called ‘Moisture Zero Technology.’ After the campaign, sales in June increased by 304% compared to March before the campaign.
