Ilsin Christian Hospital is launching a medical expense support program to assist foreign patients.
The Social Work Department of Ilsin Christian Hospital announced on the 9th, "We will do our best as a medical community practicing the love of Jesus by carrying out a medical expense support project for marginalized groups and foreign patients."
The hospital plans to prioritize medical support for prenatal care of mothers without health insurance qualifications, natural and cesarean deliveries, neonatal care, and emergency pediatric patients.
They also support childbirth and welfare for unmarried mothers. As a general hospital, Ilsin Christian Hospital is always available for emergency deliveries and hospitalizations during holidays and nighttime.
Patients or guardians in need of medical support can visit the hospital's Social Work Department with identification for consultation. At this time, even expired foreign registration cards or passports are required.
If the hospital determines that support is necessary based on the consultation, measures will be taken to provide medical expense assistance.
A hospital official stated, "If foreign patients or guardians in need of help contact us, we plan to explore various support methods through interpretation consultations via the Ilsin Multicultural Community when necessary."
