Bank of Korea to Hold National Finals of the '2023 Monetary Policy Contest' on the 11th

The Bank of Korea announced on the 9th that it will hold the national finals of the '2023 Monetary Policy Contest' on the 11th.

The teams that won the grand prize in each regional preliminary competition are ▲ Seoul A group 'Tonggeumjikimi' team ▲ Seoul B group ‘Agidwaeji Sahyeongje’ team ▲ Gyeonggi ‘Saphilgwijung’ team ▲ Daejeon·Sejong·Chungcheong ‘Will-BOK’ team ▲ Gwangju·Jeonnam ‘Hwanggeum Riyul’ team ▲ Daegu·Gyeongbuk ‘Hankyungje Ilbyeong Guhagi’ team ▲ Busan 'YoriBOKgo JoriBOKgo' team.

Each team will present their simulated decision on the base interest rate for August based on their judgment of domestic and international financial and economic trends and prospects, and will compete by responding to questions from the judges.

The teams advancing to the finals will receive commendations and prize money in the name of the Governor. One gold prize team, one silver prize team, two bronze prize teams, and three encouragement prize teams will be awarded.
