KT Alpha Shopping announced on the 8th that it will launch the American premium denim brand 'Joe’s Jeans' in Korea for the first time this month.

The muse of the Joe’s Jeans brand is actress Kim Sa-rang, who is called a celebrity among celebrities due to her mysterious image. Actress Kim Sa-rang, who has become a role model for many women with her refined Asian beauty and excellent self-management, is expected to showcase various charms as the brand model for Joe’s Jeans, which focuses on denim materials.
Since last year, KT Alpha Shopping has been accelerating the discovery of new brands and expanding its brand business. This is to expand its commerce business as a brand operator holding brand licenses beyond T-commerce. The strategy is to expand licensed brands (LB) sold domestically by securing exclusive licenses for well-known overseas famous brands as well as its own private brands (PB).
In addition, KT Alpha Shopping plans to strengthen customer touchpoints by expanding distribution channels such as its own TV broadcasts and online malls, fashion vertical platforms like the online luxury commerce 'Must It', Naver Smart Store, and home shopping.
KT Alpha CEO Cho Sung-soo said, “We plan to expand the brand IP business centered on fashion categories reflecting customer needs and to establish a foundation as a brand operator by securing product competitiveness in the commerce market.”
Meanwhile, KT Alpha Shopping is preparing the 2023 F/W season for its own fashion brand (PB) ‘Le Toit’, which was launched in October last year and has surpassed 25 billion KRW in cumulative orders. It has also signed an exclusive license agreement with the British premium fashion brand ‘HENRI-LLOYD’ for the first time in Asia to plan, produce, and sell domestic clothing products. Furthermore, based on an apparel license agreement with the premium golf brand ‘XXIO’, KT Alpha plans to launch XXIO’s first domestic golf wear lineup next year.
