At 10:20 AM on the 7th, Suyeong-gu Office, '15-Minute City Vision Tour Season 2 Suyeong-gu Edition'
Policy on Building Smart Welfare Hanaro Center and Creating Family-Friendly Suyeong Historical Park
Busan City will hold the ‘15-Minute City Vision Tour Season 2 Suyeong-gu Edition’ at 10:20 AM on the 7th in the Gumin Hall of Suyeong District Office.
The event will be attended by Mayor Park Hyung-jun, Suyeong District Mayor Kang Seong-tae, National Assembly member Jeon Bong-min, Executive Director Lee Jae-pil of the Korea Technology Finance Corporation, CEO Kim Kyung-jo of Kyungsung Industry, the Sympathy Policy Group, and about 200 others.
The 15-minute city is a journey created together with citizens. Unlike past visits to autonomous districts and counties in the form of meetings with residents, the city planned the ‘15-Minute City Vision Tour’ in stages with the intention of communicating policies based on policy agendas.
While Season 1 conducted last year aimed to share the vision of the 15-minute city, Season 2, promoted this year, aims to activate citizen participation throughout the entire policy cycle including policy planning, decision-making, execution, and evaluation.
Vision Tour Season 2 started with Saha-gu in March and is being sequentially promoted targeting 16 autonomous districts and counties. This event is the fourth in order and will be held in Suyeong-gu.
In this Suyeong-gu edition, local residents will directly propose policy tasks, and through discussions and opinion gathering among participants on the policy tasks, promotion tasks will be selected. A total of two policy tasks will be proposed.
▲ (Construction of Smart Welfare Hanaro Center) The Smart Welfare Hanaro Center plans to respond to increasing demands in administration and welfare and realize the core values of the 15-minute city by gathering anchor facilities such as Deulraknallak and HA-HA Center into one representative communication and exchange space for residents.
▲ (Creation of Family-Friendly Suyeong Historic Park) Suyeong Historic Park was a representative resting place for Suyeong residents with historical significance, but its utilization has declined due to aging facilities and lack of core content. Therefore, it will be renovated into a facility where history, nature, and the future coexist through facility maintenance to improve accessibility and program advancement such as a virtual reality (VR) experience center.
Mayor Park Hyung-jun stated, “Since the adopted tasks are both conceptual plans and proposed tasks, after detailed planning, they will be sequentially promoted through consultations with Suyeong District Office and related organizations.” He added, “As these projects are closely related to the daily lives of local residents, we ask for continuous interest and support in their implementation.”
