This inspection was prompted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor raising the response level to heatwave situations to the highest level starting from the 1st of this month. They visited construction sites vulnerable to heatwaves to directly check the implementation status of "heat illness prevention measures for outdoor workers."

Min Gil-su, the head of the office who visited the site, urged, "During heatwave conditions where heat-related illnesses such as heatstroke are a concern, please minimize outdoor work and strictly follow basic safety rules to ensure the safety and health of workers." Hong Moon-gi, CEO of HJ Heavy Industries' construction division, also stated, "Our company has had zero serious accidents for three consecutive years until last year," and pledged, "This year, to achieve zero serious accidents for the fourth consecutive year, we will prioritize safety and health management as the top value in our management."

Since last month, HJ Heavy Industries has been conducting a company-wide campaign titled "HJ Healthy Summer Heatwave Signal Campaign, Let's Keep Only This!" The campaign focuses on adhering to the three basic heat illness prevention rules: water, shade, and rest, in preparation for the summer heatwave. Additionally, monthly safety and health inspections of construction sites are being carried out, where the CEO and all headquarters executives visit their respective responsible sites.
