Major Brand Apartment, 'Chuncheon Lake City I-Park' Contract Begins from the 7th

- Top 10 Construction Companies' Brand Apartments Dominate the Housing Market in the First Half of This Year
- Thorough Investment in Branding, Specialized Services, and After-Sales Management Positively Impacting Housing Prices

Major Brand Apartment, 'Chuncheon Lake City I-Park' Contract Begins from the 7th

The popularity of major brand apartments has been soaring. Major brand apartments are like a 'guaranteed check' in the real estate market, falling less during downturns and rising significantly during upswings.

This trend is clearly reflected in the sales market as well. According to data from the Korea Real Estate Board's Subscription Home, among the top 10 complexes with the highest first-priority subscription competition rates in this year's sales market (as of the end of July), six were developed by the top 10 construction companies known as major brands. Even when changing the criterion to the complexes with the highest number of first-priority applicants, the result is the same. Major brand apartments accounted for nine out of the top 10 complexes.

The reason major brand apartments are so popular is that demand-side buyers are well aware that large construction companies invest heavily every year in brand management. In particular, major brand apartments have officially verified construction experience and capabilities accumulated over many years, making them the preferred choice for more buyers.

In fact, major brand apartments provide various specialized services for residents, from design to community facilities, and take full responsibility for thorough after-sales management following completion. Additionally, due to the symbolic value of the brand itself, these apartments are likely to become landmarks in their regions, positively influencing property values after move-in.

Due to these factors, the ‘Chuncheon Lake City I-Park’ supplied by HDC Hyundai Development Company recently achieved an excellent average competition rate of 27.75 to 1 in the first-priority subscription held on the 18th of last month. This competition rate is currently the best among sales complexes in Gangwon Province this year.

The complex will be built with 7 buildings ranging from 3 basement floors to a maximum of 32 floors above ground, comprising a total of 874 units with exclusive areas ranging from 63 to 138㎡. The number of units by area is as follows: △63㎡ exclusive area with 209 units (1 type) △76㎡ exclusive area with 88 units (1 type) △84㎡ exclusive area with 534 units (3 types) △105㎡ exclusive area with 41 units (1 type) △137㎡ exclusive area with 1 unit (1 type) △138㎡ exclusive area with 1 unit (1 type), offering a variety of housing types to suit different lifestyles.

As befitting a major brand apartment, ‘Chuncheon Lake City I-Park’ is expected to embody comprehensive changes and innovations in HDC Hyundai Development Company's products and technological capabilities.

The complex maximizes lighting, ventilation, and sunlight exposure through a primarily 4-bay slab-type structure and south-facing layout. Some units also secure views of the waterfront as well as panoramic views of Chuncheon city. Additionally, it is designed with flexible partition walls to adapt smoothly to rapidly changing lifestyles and residential environments.

‘Chuncheon Lake City I-Park’ incorporates a resort-look design motif that makes the journey begin the moment residents enter the complex. The layout harmonizes rest and residential boundaries, designing the ground level as a 100% park-type apartment with no vehicle traffic. Particularly, a sky lounge is provided on the top floor of the complex, allowing residents to enjoy views of the Bukhan River, Uiam Lake, and other scenic spots in Chuncheon city.

Located in a prominent area within Chuncheon city, the complex offers a comfortable living environment unique to ‘Chuncheon Lake City I-Park’. It is adjacent to Uiam Park, which features exercise facilities, an outdoor performance hall, and walking trails, as well as Samcheon-dong Ecological Experience Park, Bukhan River, Gongjicheon Stream, and Uiam Lake. Shopping facilities such as E-Mart, Lotte Mart, and Hanaro Mart, as well as public offices including the Gangwon Provincial Government Office and Chuncheon City Hall, are easily accessible. Legoland Korea Resort is also nearby. Residents can use Chuncheon Station and Namchuncheon Station on the Gyeongchun Line, and in the future, they are expected to benefit from the Dongseo High-Speed Railway (Yongsan~Chuncheon~Sokcho, scheduled to open in 2027) and the 2nd Gyeongchun National Road (Namyangju~Chuncheon, scheduled for completion in 2029).

‘Chuncheon Lake City I-Park’ will hold contracts for three days from Monday, August 7 to Wednesday, August 9.

The first installment of the contract deposit is set at a fixed amount of 10 million KRW, and a full 60% interest-free financing benefit on the interim payment is provided. Also, since there is no obligation for actual residence and no restriction period on resale of the pre-sale rights, resale is possible upon full payment of 10% of the contract deposit.

The model house for ‘Chuncheon Lake City I-Park’ is currently open for visitors.
