Introduction of an Internal Communication System Ensuring Anonymity and Safety
Foodnamu announced on the 4th that it has introduced and is operating an anonymous reporting system called ‘Helpline’ from the 1st to realize ethical management by eradicating corruption and improper conduct.
Helpline is an ethical management system established to reduce management risks and maintain organizational integrity. It can be used by anyone, including Foodnamu employees and external customers, without separate membership registration via PC or smartphone.
Reports can be made on acts contrary to the organization's ethical values and integrity, employee grievances, suggestions and opinions for fostering a culture of integrity, and ideas. Reports can include ▲corrupt acts ▲unfair orders ▲human rights violations ▲power harassment ▲sexual harassment ▲personal grievances ▲suggestions, etc.
Reported content is anonymized through the Helpline system and delivered in real time to the Foodnamu Audit Team manager. After investigation by the Audit Team, the results are communicated back to the reporter via the Helpline system.
The system alleviates reporters’ concerns about identity exposure through encryption of report contents, overseas server management, and IP tracking blocking systems, and is expected to play a significant role in establishing a sound reporting culture.
A Foodnamu official stated, “We expect that the Helpline, an anonymous guaranteed reporting system, will enhance Foodnamu’s ethical management and integrity,” and added, “We will continue to strive to become a company that can sustain growth through efficient and transparent management activities.”
