In particular, this event will also feature a citizen participation concert to support Busan’s bid for the 2030 World Expo. The concert will be held at 7 p.m. on the 5th at Amir Park next to the National Maritime Museum.
Performances by Ailee, Burning Soda, Soon Soonhee, Ju Sick, and Team H will offer a variety of entertainment, further igniting the citizens’ enthusiasm for the Expo bid.
Mayor Park Hyung-jun stated, “Through diverse competitions and cultural events set against Busan’s beautiful coastal scenery, we hope to help everyone cool off from the midsummer heat, even if just for a moment,” and added, “We ask for the citizens’ active interest and participation.”
To ensure smooth event operations, traffic near the venues, including the intersection in front of Cafe Piak, Mir Park intersection, and the entrance to Korea Maritime and Ocean University, will be partially restricted from the 4th to the 6th.
