‘SUMMEREST,’ Lotte World Tower’s signature summer event held since 2019, was planned to offer a refreshing break to customers weary from the heat. This year, under the theme of ‘Forest in the City,’ various attractions such as the ‘Rest Zone,’ ‘Picnic Zone,’ and ‘Forest Hut’ have been prepared.

Upon entering the event venue, visitors will find the ‘Forest Road,’ designed as a forest trail. Walking along the path, they can relax in the ‘Rest Zone,’ equipped with shade tents, camping chairs, and picnic tables. The ‘Picnic Zone,’ where visitors can sit on picnic mats and enjoy busking performances, is also available to savor the romance of summer.

Cozy huts have been installed throughout World Park to provide shelter from the scorching sun and sudden showers. On weekdays (Monday to Thursday), these huts are available for free use, while on Fridays and weekends, they can be used by making a reservation on-site. Visitors can verify a purchase receipt of 30,000 KRW or more from Lotte World Tower or Mall at the information center within the venue and then reserve their preferred time slot before visiting.

An oversized Bear Balloon exhibition, created in collaboration with pop artist Lim Ji-bin, will also be held at World Park until the 20th. As part of the ‘Everywhere Project,’ which installs Bearbrick-shaped balloons throughout the city, a 12-meter tall yellow Bear Balloon featuring the word ‘REST’ to symbolize relaxation offers healing to visitors.

Every Friday and weekend, a Bear Balloon goods giveaway event takes place. Customers who upload a certification photo on SNS or purchase 30,000 KRW or more at the Tower or Mall will receive a Bear Balloon fan or balloon on a first-come, first-served basis. Additionally, customers who take out food from the Tower or Mall F&B stores and use the huts will be entered into a draw to win a Bear Balloon picnic mat.

Seo Gyu-ha, Marketing Team Leader at Lotte Property & Development, said, “We prepared this event to provide healing and comfort to customers exhausted by the heat,” adding, “We hope everyone enjoys a relaxing break at Lotte World Tower, transformed into a small urban sanctuary.”
