Dongjin Semichem, an advanced semiconductor materials, parts, and equipment (SoBuJang) company chaired by Lee Buseop, donated 150 million KRW to Seodaemun-gu to support youth cultural and artistic activities.
The district is carrying out various youth support projects in fields such as culture and arts, leveraging the local characteristic of having nine universities within its area. Dongjin Semichem's donation was designated and entrusted to the Seodaemun-gu Social Welfare Council to be used for various projects supporting youth cultural and artistic activities.
Lee Buseop, chairman of Dongjin Semichem, said, "I strongly sympathize with Seodaemun-gu's policies that help youth realize their dreams and self-fulfillment, and I participated in the donation with a heart to support these efforts."
Lee Seongheon, mayor of Seodaemun-gu, expressed gratitude, saying, "The company's interest and consideration for the youth of this era will help them plan their future and increase their happiness index." The donation ceremony was held on the 1st in the mayor's office.
Dongjin Semichem is a specialized company in semiconductor and display materials with technological expertise, recording sales of 1.457 trillion KRW last year as a mid-sized enterprise.
