T-Robotics announced on the 1st that its overseas subsidiary, the U.S. corporation (T-Roboics Inc.), signed a contract on the 30th of last month to install and supply AGV/AMR ROBOTs related to secondary battery automation systems with a U.S. customer, worth 3.63 million USD (approximately 4.6 billion KRW). The supply period is until November 2025.
Earlier, T-Robotics disclosed in April that it had signed two contracts to supply logistics automation systems for secondary battery production processes with SK.
In June, T-Robotics raised 40 billion KRW through the issuance of bonds with warrants (BW), allocating 6 billion KRW as operating funds for its overseas subsidiaries. Approximately 12 billion KRW was allocated for facility funds to expand domestic facilities.
A T-Robotics official explained, "With the overseas subsidiary operating funds, we plan to secure logistics factory facilities locally in the U.S. and dispatch personnel to expand supply and mass production bases in the U.S. market."
T-Robotics also plans to double its current domestic production facilities by 2025, considering the order situation. The funds have already been secured and can be deployed at any time.
The official emphasized, "This order, secured through the overseas subsidiary, is expected to strengthen T-Robotics' robot supply chain in the North American market," adding, "Investment in the overseas subsidiary will serve as an opportunity to firmly establish market leadership.”
