Hugel Hosts Global Academic Forum 'H.E.L.F in Seoul'

Hugel announced on the 1st that it successfully concluded the global academic forum ‘2023 H.E.L.F in Seoul’ at the Grand Intercontinental Seoul Parnas Hotel in Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the 30th of last month.


Hugel Hosts Global Academic Forum 'H.E.L.F in Seoul' Hugel Inc. announced on the 1st that it held the medical aesthetic academic symposium "2023 H.E.L.F in Seoul" on the 30th of last month at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas Hotel in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, with medical professionals and stakeholders from Korea and major Asian countries in attendance.

H.E.L.F, an acronym for 'Hugel Expert Leader’s Forum,' is Hugel’s representative global academic symposium held since 2013, serving as an academic exchange platform where medical professionals and industry stakeholders in the global beauty and plastic surgery fields share the latest academic insights and procedural know-how in the medical aesthetic sector.


Notably, this year’s H.E.L.F was held on the largest scale ever. Medical professionals and stakeholders from major Asian countries including Korea, China, Taiwan, Indonesia, and Japan attended, with 18 speakers who are authorities from Korea, the United States, Thailand, and China participating. The event featured a total of 6 sessions and 20 lectures.


The event was organized under the theme ‘Toward Genuineness - Beyond Aspiration: Aesthetic Components of Generations in a Diversity Perspective.’ Through this, discussions were held on the latest trends and procedural techniques applicable by age group and gender.


In the morning session, participants included ▲ Hyungmoon Kim, Director of Meilin Clinic Ilsan ▲ Jonathan Sykes, American plastic surgeon ▲ Heejin Kim, Professor of Oral Biology at Yonsei University College of Dentistry ▲ Jungmok Cho, Director of Eaton Plastic Surgery ▲ Won Lee, Director of Yonsei Won Plastic Surgery ▲ Seungguk Hwang, Director of Seven Days Plastic Surgery ▲ Youngin Lee, Professor of Dermatology at Yonsei University College of Medicine ▲ Jongwoo Kim, Director of Gangnam ID Clinic ▲ Hyunjun Park, Director of Meilin Clinic Cheongdam. They presented on multidisciplinary approaches for successful aesthetic procedures, the latest procedural trends for the 2030 generation, and anti-aging procedures using hyaluronic acid components.


Following this, the afternoon session featured speakers including ▲ Haewon Jung, Director of Aurum Clinic ▲ Wook Oh, Director of Meilin Clinic The Hyundai Seoul ▲ Sangbong Lee, Director of Pigmalion Clinic ▲ Hoseong Choi, Director of Pioner Clinic ▲ Giwoong Hong, Director of Sam Skin Plastic Surgery ▲ Rungsima Wanitphakdeedecha, Thai dermatologist ▲ Gyuho Lee, Director of Meilin Clinic ▲ Hang Wang, Professor at Sichuan University, China ▲ Jaewook Yoo, Director of Baromi Clinic. Lectures covered anti-aging strategies targeting the 40s and 50s generations and aesthetic procedures for male grooming groups.


During the Q&A sessions for each session, active discussions took place. Speakers and attendees maintained high engagement by discussing diverse clinical experiences and new concurrent procedural methods on a multinational level. After the symposium concluded, attendees left positive feedback, expressing great satisfaction with the high-quality lectures befitting a global academic event.
