Gwangju Dong-gu 'Busking World Cup' Final Match Schedule Confirmed

Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, has finalized the main tournament bracket for the 2nd Gwangju Busking World Cup.


According to Dong-gu on the 1st, a total of 792 teams (1,732 people) challenged the Busking World Cup preliminaries, and 20 domestic teams (70 people) and 44 overseas teams (102 people) advanced to the main tournament.


The main tournament bracket was arranged considering the characteristics of the venues?the Sky Yard at the National Asian Culture Complex, the May 18 Democratic Square, and Sangmugwan?and the performance styles of each team.


Specifically, ▲Tessad Vine from Australia ▲Jacob Koopman from Indonesia ▲Hashiken from Japan ▲Helicopter Secondhand from Thailand ▲From Us and Hwang Aeri from Korea will compete at the Sky Yard.


On the stage in front of Sangmugwan, ▲Avalon from Spain ▲‘Livia & Fred’ from Brazil ▲Bibilla & Dulla Band from the United States ▲Project Rock and Mokkoji from Korea will perform.


At the May 18 Democratic Square stage, ▲Bartek Dabrowski from Poland ▲Mariashiga from France ▲Lisa Aqua from Germany ▲Danmood from Italy ▲Park Sujin and Jo Hangyeol from Korea will compete in a tournament format.


Between the intense competitions, invited teams such as the ‘Helsinki Konodu Ensemble’ and ‘Ambassador Harim’ will hold congratulatory performances to boost the excitement.


After the fierce three-day main tournament from October 3rd to 6th concludes, on Saturday the 7th, the eight teams advancing to the finals will hold the grand final tournament on the main stage of the Chungjang Festival to determine the ultimate winner.
