Gyeongbuk Office of Education Provides Training on Press Release Writing to Over 1,000 Employees

Gyeongbuk Office of Education (Superintendent Lim Jong-sik) will conduct training on press release writing methods for 1,037 press release officers from 971 institutions, including directly affiliated institutions of the provincial Office of Education, education support offices, and schools (vice principals), from the 1st to the 11th.


This training, under the theme "Simple and Clear Press Release Writing That Captures Reporters' Attention," is designed to enhance the capabilities of staff members and widely inform education policy stakeholders such as students, parents, and residents about the voices from the education field, thereby gaining trust in Gyeongbuk education policies.

The training will be conducted through case-based lectures and divided into six regions?Gumi, Yeongdeok, Gyeongsan, Pohang, Gimcheon, and Andong?to ensure efficient sessions.


The curriculum focuses on key procedures for public relations tasks and effective promotion methods, including simple and clear press release writing, how to take photos for press use, communicating with the media (media coverage), and responding to media misinformation.


Hong Jong-seon, Communication Cooperation Officer at the Gyeongbuk Office of Education, stated, "The most powerful promotional tool to widely inform education policy stakeholders about Gyeongbuk education policies reflected and implemented in the education field is distributing press releases through media outlets." He added, "We ask staff members to thoroughly understand press release writing methods and promote news from the education field to the media in various ways."
