The movie 'Milsu' surpassed 2 million viewers on its 7th day since release.
According to distributor NEW on the 1st, the Korea Film Council's integrated ticket sales system reported that 'Milsu' (directed by Ryu Seung-wan) attracted a cumulative audience of 2,035,632. The film, which was released on the 26th of last month, surpassed 1 million viewers on the 4th day and reached 2 million viewers on the 7th day.
Actors Kim Hye-soo, Yum Jung-ah, Jo In-sung, and Park Jung-min expressed their gratitude for surpassing 2 million viewers. They plan to continue meeting audiences with stage greetings during the second week.
The film's team analyzed, "Viewers in their 20s to 40s are satisfied with director Ryu Seung-wan's distinctive direction, the relationships between the characters played by the actors, and the refreshing action scenes, while viewers in their 50s to 70s are pleased with the nostalgic music and atmosphere of the 1970s, as well as the performances of popular actors."
'Milsu' is a maritime crime action film about people who make a living by salvaging daily necessities thrown into the sea, who get caught up in a life-changing big deal.
